連續兩天，迦密山教會的大衛戴維斯牧師（他的妻子是 Karen
Davis，猶太敬拜帶領和歌唱者，彼得塚平也是這個教會的牧師）發出下列緊急代禱呼
籲：

為在以色列北邊
Nahariya居住的黎巴嫩人教會代禱。教會已經讓25人從該城市搬到海法市的收容中心居
住。

為海法（迦密山下的靠海大都市）也開始被火箭攻擊代禱。海法港有大型儲油槽（像高
樓大廈那麼大），而且人口更多。

以色列北部已經被超過120枚火箭攻擊，在兩天之內。士兵和百姓都有死亡，約有100人
受傷，阿拉伯裔和猶太裔都有。

大衛牧師在迦密山上一個禱告點的附近（樹林裡）也有火箭掉落。請為整個加利利地區
和北部邊界的平安代禱。

黎巴嫩南部的真主黨有敘利亞和伊朗的火力支持，號稱有12000枚飛彈。巴勒斯坦加薩
走廊在去年以色列撤軍之後，也輸入了大量武器。

我們都站立在詩篇46篇的真理上

NORTHERN ISRAEL  UPDATE

Dear Prayer Partners,

Thank you for your continuing prayers. 

Thursday evening I was having dinner at House of Victory
with director Eric Benson, his wife Sofie, and their two
daughters.  A rocket slammed into  Mount Carmel several
hundred meters up the mountain from us.  There was an
explosion and a fire in a wooded area where there are no
houses.  I have a prayer place just above where the rocket
hit, and had prayed there that morning.

We have moved about twenty-five of our Lebanese
congregation from Nahariya, near the Lebanese border, to
Beit Yedidia our conference and community center in Haifa.
They heard the  Haifa explosion last evening.   Haifa is 18
miles from  Lebanon.

Another rocket hit a  Haifa suburb not far from the  Haifa
oil storage area of the  Haifa port.

Over 120 rockets have hit northern  Israel in the last 48
hours.  Two people are dead and 100 are in hospitals.  This
includes Israeli Arabs and Jews.  The staff of every  Haifa
hospital is made up of Jews and Arabs.

Hizballah has been supported and heavily armed by  Syria
and Iran  since Israel  pulled out of the buffer zone in
southern Lebanon  in 2000.  Hizballah took over all the
Christian towns in southern  Lebanon.  They claim to have
over 12,000 missiles.

Also, more weapons have been brought into  Gaza since the
Israeli pullout in August last summer than in all the
preceding years since the Six-Day War.
We are all standing on Psalm 46.
